Who operates this website
MIVULI STORYVERSE is a QOYYUM Global project serving Mivuli Adventures and the STORYVERSE Global Store at mivuli.world. This policy applies to the website, customer library, payments and author-interest applications.
Information we use
When an adult buys a digital book we receive a receipt email address, order reference, selected titles, transaction result and, when applicable, account identification. Sign-in may involve an email address and authentication records. Author-interest submissions include the name, email, country, book title, language, genre, description and rights declaration supplied by the applicant. Necessary local browser storage may remember shopping-bag selections, language choice and a private guest purchase access token. Technical systems may process essential logs and security information.
Why we use it
We process this information to provide requested books and user accounts, verify payment, deliver books securely, answer support questions, prevent fraud, maintain site security, respond to publishing applications and meet applicable legal or accounting obligations. Depending on the purpose, the legal basis may be contract, legitimate interests, legal obligation or consent where required.
Children and families
Mivuli Adventures is designed for family-friendly enjoyment. Purchases, account administration and author applications are intended for adults or appropriately supervised users. We do not intentionally request sensitive personal information from children. Parents and guardians should supervise children and contact us to report information submitted by a child without appropriate authorization. Where applicable laws require parental permission, we will request it before processing the relevant child’s data.
Payments and service providers
Payment processing is handled by Paystack. Identity and data storage functions may be provided by Supabase, hosting and serverless services by Netlify, and selected media tools by their relevant providers. These processors handle only the information reasonably necessary for their services under their own terms and privacy notices. We do not store full card details on our website. Some processing and hosting may occur outside your country; applicable safeguards and legal requirements apply.
Cookies, browser storage and analytics
We use browser storage needed for cart selections and existing purchases, plus any authentication storage required by the account service. The guest order access key may be stored in the browser used for checkout; clearing that storage can prevent automatic recovery. Optional analytics, marketing tracking or advertising cookies must not be enabled without an updated notice and, where required, consent. Check the live site’s tracking configuration before final publication.
Data retention, security and sharing
We keep data for as long as reasonably required to provide access, maintain order and tax records, resolve disputes, secure the platform or comply with law; thereafter it is deleted or de-identified according to operational retention schedules. We apply restricted database access, private book storage, server-side payment verification and time-limited delivery links. No internet system can promise absolute security. We do not sell personal customer information to advertisers.
Your privacy choices and rights
Depending on your location and applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, portability, restriction, objection, withdrawal of optional consent or review of certain automated decisions. You may also complain to a competent data-protection authority. To exercise a right, contact the verified privacy contact published below; we may need to check identity before releasing account information.
Updates and contact
We may update this policy when our products, providers or legal requirements change, and will publish a revised effective date. Privacy enquiries should be sent to the official support email once activated. Do not submit payment-card numbers, passwords or medical information in a support request.
